The internationally famous Fairplex dragstrip is one of the leading motor sports facilities of its kind in the world. NHRA completed $4.5 million in improvements to the dragstrip in 1993; it was renamed Auto Club Raceway at Pomona in 2006; and added eight new suites prior to the 2006 World Finals
